Each year, Girls Inc. of Memphis gathers with friends, family and supporters to honor local women who
inspire Mid-South girls to stand on their own two feetand fight for a positive future – to be strong, smart and bold. In addition to being our most significant fundraiser, the Celebration Luncheon is exactly what it says – a celebration of the Girls Inc. mission, the Girls Inc. spirit and the Girls Inc. family. You simply HAVE to be there!
Hearing from our girls is always inspiring and listening to words of wisdom from our honorees WITH our girls is always a thrill. The award winners are top-notch – Joyce Johns is Vice President and Chief Audit Executive for AutoZone. Dr. Jeanne Jemison is Palliative Medicine Physician for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. The Rev. Sonia Louden Walker is Associate Pastor at First Congregational Church of Memphis. And Beverly Robertson is Interim President of the Greater Memphis Chamber.
